400 YEARS AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY

by Ron Brown Founder President CEO (PAJC) Pennsylvania Juneteenth Coalition NW Regional Director (NJOF) National Juneteenth Observance Foundation

How should people of the African Diaspora celebrate the 400th anniversary of 1619? I will use the Ghanaian metaphor, Sankofa, which translates, "Go back and get it, to return,” to answer this question. I will take you back to the beginning, so that you will collectively emerge from the experience with knowledge of the enslavement history. I will proceed with providing the ancestral ways of thy culture, healing medicine of how they are to incorporate the 400th anniversary of 1619 in 2019. It is not wrong to go back for that which one have forgotten, or do not know; before transitioning forward to build a bright successful future.

Join me my Brethren as we trace Africans biblical and historical enslavement beginnings; the time in history when Africans were 360 Degrees Free and then descended toward 360 Degrees of Slavery.

The African was created in God’s image with multidimensional spirits. Allow me to break this multidimensional spirit concept down for you. The circumference of a whole circle is 360 degrees. Anything whole is 100%. The spirit of God which freely moved on the face of the water is whole and 360 degrees, 100% free. Because man was created in God’s image it follows, God created man and women. 100%, 360 degrees free. Anything whole or wholistically free is 360 degrees of freedom. If one was to divide a spirit of a man or a whole circle into eight 45 degrees component parts, the sum total of all 8 parts would represents the mult-dimensional spirits or elements which Adam and Eve were, you are made of. The Book of Genesis helps one to identify and understand the 8 multidimensional elements God breathed into you, descendant of Adam and Eve.

CHAPTER 1, VERSE 2, 26 and 27: The spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. So God created man in his image. In the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. (God created YOU Spiritual in nature)

CHAPTER 1, VERSE 28: In the image of God he created them: male and female he created them. God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and fill the earth and subdue it; (God created YOU Sexual in nature)

2019, the 400th Anniversary Year of 1619, Part II

If God made Africans in His likeness, a free spirit moving freely on the face of the water, ruler of the earth, how did the African fall from God’s grace, fall from being rulers of the world? How did Africans find themselves one day, slaves? The Book of Geneses Chapter 3, Verse 14 to Verse 17 helps us to understand these questions.  They reveal to us how Lord God cursed Adam and Eve for disobeying God’s commandment not to eat the forbidden fruit in the midst of the garden.  Chapter 3, Verse 3 God hath said unto the women, “Ye shall not eat the fruit or touch it least ye die.” Verses 16 - 17, specified Adam and Eve’s punishment for disobeying God’s commandment; “unto the women I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shall bring forth children:” and unto Adam he said, “because thou has hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying.

2019, the 400th Anniversary of 1619, Part III

Approximately twenty million enslaved Africans were shuttered through the painful spirit puncturing Dungeons of No Return to the America’s. Parents snatched from their children, children ripped from their mother’s umbilical cord; children ripped from their father’s arms and conveyed with their hands and feet bound in fetters, shuttered aboard slave ships. Africans were forced to endure physical shackles around their neck and ankles; mental shackles around their mind; emotional shackles and turmoil deep in their spirit. African Tribes men, women and children were thrust in crowds into the holds of slave ships, many perishing from the want of air. In the holds of slave ships, Africans were forced to watch rats eating the flesh off of someone’s son or daughter’s body. Shackled African men women and children were forced to urinate and pass feces on themselves; the enslaved African was forced to observe rats nibbling on dead African’s bodies. Many tribes men and women leapt into the ocean to seek early retreat from their impending misery.

2019, the 400th Anniversary Year of 1619, Part IIII

Now that we have a clearer understanding of slavery’s biblical and historical roots; I feel the need to again ask the question, how and why should one acknowledge and commemorate the 400th anniversary of 1619? John Henry Clark states “Africans focus should be the liberation and maintenance of African people, and to restore themselves to the status they lost in the world. Africans gave the world its first humanity, and now we have the opportunity to give the world its next humanity. Africans mission of liberation should be to put strong families back together.

2019, the 400th Anniversary Year of 1619 (Part V)

The 400th anniversary year, the 50th Jubilee year, Juneteenth, Thanksgivings, Watch Night Service/Freedom Eve, 2019, is the light that cometh in the world to liberate the African and put strong families back together. John Chapter 3: 19-21 “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of the light, because their deeds were evil. Every one who does evil hates the light, and will not come to the light for fear their deeds will be exposed. But he who does what is true comes to the light, that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been wrought in God.” Descendants of Adam, Eve, and Abraham come out of the darkness in 2019 and achieve great substance. The 400th anniversary year and the 50th Jubilee year is the prophesize symbol aligned by God and the Ancestors to manifest in the lives of descendants of enslaved African Ancestors in 2019 to induce them to join, thy God in thy high place, and put their strong families back together again.
